Dr. Anjana M V is a dedicated and skilled General Surgery Specialist with strong clinical expertise in managing elective and emergency surgical cases. With extensive hands-on experience in surgical patient care, she is committed to delivering safe, ethical, and evidence-based treatment with a patient-centered approach.

She completed her MBBS from Government Medical College, Kozhikode, followed by Master of Surgery (MS) in General Surgery from Government Medical College, Kozhikode. During her postgraduate training, she gained comprehensive exposure to a wide spectrum of surgical conditions and advanced operative procedures.

Dr. Anjana currently serves as Senior Resident at Government Medical College, Manjeri, where she continues to manage diverse surgical cases in both elective and emergency settings. Prior to this, she worked as Junior Resident in the Department of General Surgery at Government Medical College, Kozhikode, from 2022 to 2025, actively participating in surgical management, peri-operative care, trauma handling, and multidisciplinary patient care.

She possesses strong expertise in pre-operative evaluation, surgical planning, intra-operative assistance, post-operative monitoring, and early complication management. Dr. Anjana is also experienced in handling trauma cases in accordance with ATLS principles and demonstrates sound clinical judgment in critical surgical decision-making.

An academically active surgeon, Dr. Anjana has participated in several national conferences, workshops, and surgical training programs. She organized and participated in CALSURGE – Bowel Anastomosis Workshop conducted at Calicut Medical College in 2023. She also participated in the IAGES-MAS Course, a two-day workshop conducted at Calicut Medical College, and attended the 83rd Annual Conference of the Association of Surgeons of India (ASI) held at Visakhapatnam in 2023.

She additionally participated in the “Master Course in Minimal Invasive Proctology” workshop conducted by the Institute of Medical and Minimal Access Surgery Training, Mumbai, further enhancing her expertise in minimally invasive surgical techniques.

Dr. Anjana has also presented academic work at KASIMOSC, the Annual Peripheral Meet of ASI, in 2024. Her research work titled “Performance of qSOFA vs Modified qSOFA for the Prediction of Outcomes in Emergency Abdominal Surgery Patients” reflects her interest in evidence-based surgical practice and emergency care outcomes.
