Dr. Favas T. T. is a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Neurologist at Almas Hospital, Kottakkal, with a robust background in stroke and interventional neurology. He completed his MBBS from Kottayam Medical College, Kerala, followed by an MD in General Medicine from Goa Medical College. Further enhancing his expertise, Dr. Favas earned a DM in Neurology from the Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi.

Dr. Favas pursued a Post-doctoral Fellowship in Stroke and Interventional Neurology at Rajagiri Hospital, Aluva, Kerala, where he gained extensive experience in both invasive and non-invasive neuro-interventional procedures. His qualifications are further strengthened by international certifications, including the Specialty Certificate Examination (SCE) in Neurology from the UK, Fellow of the European Board of Neurology (FEBN), and Fellow of the World Headache Society (FWHS).

His procedural expertise includes cerebral digital subtraction angiography (DSA), mechanical thrombectomy, carotid stenting, intracerebral stenting, and aneurysm coiling, among others. He is also skilled in non-invasive techniques like transcranial Doppler (TCD) and transcranial color Doppler (TCCD).

Dr. Favas has held various prestigious positions, including Senior Specialist in Neurology at Aster MIMS Kottakkal, and has served in numerous roles across reputable institutions in Kerala and Goa. He has contributed significantly to the field of neurology through his research, with multiple publications in leading medical journals, covering topics such as neurological manifestations of COVID-19, neuro-leptospirosis, and the epidemiology of snakebites.
