Dr. Shahana M is a dedicated Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with extensive experience in comprehensive women's healthcare. She is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care while ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence for women across every stage of life, from adolescence and pregnancy to menopause.

She completed her MBBS from Government Medical College, Kozhikode, followed by a Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (DGO) from Government Medical College, Kozhikode. She subsequently earned her DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from Aster MIMS, Kozhikode, and was awarded the prestigious MNAMS. To further enhance her clinical expertise, she completed specialized training in Obstetric and Gynaecological Ultrasound.

Before joining ALMAS Hospital, Dr. Shahana served as Senior Resident at Government Medical College, Kottayam. She also worked as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Matha Hospital, Kottayam, and as a Junior Consultant at Matria Hospital, Kozhikode. Throughout her career, she has gained extensive experience in managing normal and high-risk pregnancies, infertility evaluation, gynaecological disorders, emergency obstetric care, and advanced minimally invasive procedures, with a strong focus on ensuring safe maternal and reproductive healthcare.

Alongside her clinical practice, Dr. Shahana has maintained a keen interest in academic research. Her research on first-trimester fetal assessment received a Certificate of Commendation and was subsequently published in the International Journal of Pharmaceutical Research and Applications, reflecting her commitment to advancing women's healthcare through evidence-based practice.

At ALMAS Hospital, Dr. Shahana combines clinical expertise with a patient-centred approach, offering comprehensive obstetric and gynaecological care tailored to the individual needs of every woman. Her areas of special interest include high-risk pregnancy management, antenatal and postnatal care, infertility evaluation and IUI, obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound, hysteroscopy, laparoscopic surgery, caesarean section, hysterectomy, myomectomy, cervical cancer screening, and preventive women's health, ensuring holistic care with compassion and excellence.
