Dr. Aysha Tamanna is a committed and academically driven Radiologist with comprehensive training in diagnostic imaging and image-guided procedures. She completed her MBBS from Government Medical College, Kottayam (2015–2020), followed by DNB Radiodiagnosis from Apollo Hospitals, Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore (2022–2025), a centre known for advanced cross-sectional and emergency imaging. She began her clinical journey as a House Surgeon at Government Medical College, Kottayam and later at Government Medical College, Kozhikode, gaining valuable exposure to multidisciplinary patient care. During her DNB training, Dr. Aysha acquired strong proficiency in X-ray interpretation, ultrasound (including abdominal, obstetric, Doppler, small parts, breast, and TVS studies), and detailed CT and MRI reporting across neuro, chest, abdominal, and musculoskeletal imaging. She is also skilled in performing conventional fluoroscopic procedures. Dr. Aysha has actively contributed to academic radiology, presenting scientific papers and posters at prestigious platforms such as RSNA 2024, ISNR 2024, and NeuroInsights 2024. Her DNB thesis focused on early prediction of pre-eclampsia using first-trimester biochemical markers and uterine artery Doppler indices. She has also published a case report on adult presentation of congenital intrapericardial diaphragmatic hernia. Her areas of interest include women’s imaging, neuroimaging, Doppler studies, and emergency radiology. She demonstrates strong clinical correlation, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to evidence-based practice. Dr. Aysha is a member of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) and is proficient in English, Malayalam, Hindi, and Kannada. She remains dedicated to continuous learning, high-quality reporting, and patient-centred radiology practice.
