Dr. Rabeeh Parambil is a highly experienced Consultant in Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonology, known for his clinical expertise, academic excellence, and commitment to patient safety and quality healthcare delivery. He completed his MBBS from SUT Academy of Medical Sciences, Thiruvananthapuram, followed by MD in Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine from SRM Medical College Hospital & Research Centre, Chennai, where he graduated as a University Gold Medalist and First Rank holder. He further specialised in critical care by completing the Indian Diploma in Critical Care Medicine (IDCCM) from KMCH Hospital, Coimbatore. Dr. Rabeeh has extensive experience in managing critically ill patients, including advanced ECMO support, mechanical ventilation, and complex multi-organ failure cases. His procedural expertise includes bronchoscopy (rigid and flexible), thoracoscopy, bedside ultrasound, 2D echocardiography, percutaneous tracheostomy, central and arterial line insertions, dialysis catheter placement, and other life-saving critical care interventions. He is certified in American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and follows evidence-based protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Dr. Rabeeh currently serves as Consultant and In-charge of Critical Care Medicine at Almas Hospital, Kottakal , Kerala. He also holds roles contributing significantly to clinical governance, patient safety, and quality improvement initiatives. He has previously worked as Consultant and In-charge of Critical Care Medicine and Assistant Chief of Medical Services (ACMS) at Aster Hospital, Areekode, Kerala. He also held key leadership roles as Head of the Quality Department and Clinical Safety Officer (CSO) and as a Senior Registrar in Critical Care at Kovai Medical Center and Hospital, Coimbatore, and as a Pulmonologist at Daya Super Speciality Hospital, Malappuram. Dr. Rabeeh is actively involved in research and academics, with publications in national and international journals. His research interests include COPD, lung function assessment, and advanced respiratory care, and he has presented his work at national pulmonology conferences. With a patient-centered approach and strong academic foundation, Dr. Rabeeh continues his mission to deliver ethical, advanced, and compassionate critical care services to the community.
